Live Science Parent Company Launches New Health And Fitness Website

August 30, 2020

Future plc, the parent company of Live Science, has launched a new website that we think our readers will enjoy. Called FitandWell.com, the site is designed to help anyone interested in improving their overall health and fitness, regardless of gender, age or fitness level; the articles on the site will cater for a wide range of individuals and aspirations, from those who just want to lose a few pounds to those who want to train for a marathon.

The new site will cover health and wellbeing, fitness, nutrition and mental health, including health-related news, exercise guides, fitness equipment reviews, healthy recipes and inspirational stories from real people.

The site was launched in the midst of a pandemic that has everyone thinking about their physical and mental health.

“People’s priorities have naturally changed as a result of experiencing the biggest public health scare in history,” said Paul Newman, managing director of FitandWell.com, in a statement from Future plc.” Staying healthy and fit is no longer an option, especially for those in high-risk groups, it’s a practical necessity. That’s why we’ve launched FitandWell.com to provide practical and accessible advice for people of all backgrounds, from weight loss to healthier eating,” he added.

When it comes to epidemics, many of us must now rely on at-home activities to get in shape. With that in mind, and as long as the landscape of the fitness industry changes, FitandWell.com will also be placing a special emphasis on home fitness techniques, offering buying guides for fitness trackers and reviews of online personal training products.

FitandWell.com’s Director of Content talked about how excited he is to launch this new wellness brand that will help “people make the right diet and exercise plans for their needs, buy the best products to reach their goals, and use them to get great results.” Paul Douglas said in a statement.
